A technique for producing ideas

As a young marketing copywriter, I was introduced to James Webb Young’s book, ‘A technique for producing ideas’. Aimed originally at advertising copywriters, it does exactly what it says on the tin, and sets out a five-step method for producing ideas. As a writer, the technique is still invaluable. The book has been in print since the 1960s and is worth the small cost.
